William J. “Bill” Dinneen, beloved husband of Donna M. Anderson died on January 21, 2011. Born in New Haven, CT, March 13, 1949, he was the son of Gelsomine “Babe” Dinneen and the late William J. Dinneen. He is also survived by his son Bill Dinneen, Jr. and wife Joy of Bronx, NY; daughter Peggy Sawala and husband Scott of Westport, CT; sister Kathy (Gabe) Calvo of Mansfield, CT; brother Brian (Maria) of West Haven, CT; brother John (Laurene) of Westminster, CO, twin granddaughters Olivia and Ella Sawala; niece Jamie and nephews Chris, Mike and Eric. Bill was a graduate of Notre Dame High School of West Haven and The University of New Haven with a degree in Computer Engineering. He worked 40 years as a Systems Engineer and IT consultant in Connecticut, New York and Florida. He was also an accomplished musician, songwriter and a noted bass player. He was a member of several bands, most notably Eastern Alliance, The Royals, and The Sweet Tea Band.
