William “Bill” J. Beck
February 5, 1954 – June 5, 2011
William “Bill” J. Beck, 57, of Clearwater, FL, (formerly of Huntsburg, OH), born February 5, 1954, left the struggles of this life and entered into his eternal home Sunday evening, June 5th, 2011.
He is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and former Pastor of Huntsburg Baptist Church. His favorite scripture was John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
Although Bill will be sadly missed by his loved ones, we hold onto this truth in James 4:8, “Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.”. He is survived by his loving children: Amy Beck Tranter and her husband Michael; Luke Beck and his wife Morgan; grandchildren, Ella, Joshua, M.J., and Olivia, all of the Tampa, FL area; and his siblings: Eddie Beck, Robert Beck, Karen McKinney, Cindi Macpherson, Mary Staudt, Betty Townsend, Florence Staudt, Angus Beck, April Stetka and Jenny Stetka.
Bill was a wonderful father, gifted preacher and loving man to all who crossed his path. Bill is now basking in the glorious presence of His Savior and walking with his little buddy and son, Joshua, and countless others whom he helped to accept God’s amazing grace.
The Bible tells us in James 4:14, “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” While Bill Beck has vanished from our immediate presence, we praise God for His master plan – that this side of heaven is NOT the end.

We are truly saddened by the loss of Pastor Beck. We did not know him extremely well, but what we did know was: he was truly a concerned Pastor. We will never forget our special times with him, his sermons at the church in Huntsburg. Bill had many challenges he mastered and God brought him through them all. He surely has a place in Heaven with his son, Josh and other members of his family who have gone before him. Prayers are for his family to understand we will all meet again one day. God bless you all.

Dad, Although I’m struggling with missing you tremendously and wondering who can take your place with all my Bible questions and “why” discussions, I wouldn’t ask you to trade places for I know that you are truly smiling 100% of the time now that you’re with Jesus. I stand on the promises of God and believe His word is infallible and completely true, and so there’s not a shadow of a doubt that your door to eternity has opened, and it is better than you ever expected. Can’t wait to be with you again – thanks for so many precious memories and for introducing me to my Heavenly Father. ~always your “honey bun”, Amy

We are so saddened by the loss of Mr. Beck. Frank has always talked about him in stories of when he was growing up and what an impact Mr. Beck made in his faith. He is often remembered in our house as with all of the Beck family through stories of Awana and Frank and Josh just being two best friends growing up and maybe getting into some trouble doing so. We are molded by the people we meet in our lives and I know that Mr. Beck has molded many people and through great faith.
