William “Billy” Howard Beitler, the son of William and Carolyn Beitler, was born in Wichita, Kansas on March 15, 1969. He went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2015. Bill moved to Canon City with his family when he was eighteen months old. He graduated from Canon City High School in 1987. Bill is survived by both of his parents and his children Chance (Jamie) Beitler, Heather (Dan) Briggs, and Keith (Tamara) Rickert. He was the grandfather to Hunter Ellis, Abrianna and Jace Beitler and Elli Briggs; his sister Kimberly (William) Griffiths; and three nieces, Karolyn, Katelyn, and Kristen Griffiths; his fiancé Niki Nance and a future stepson, Collin Nance both of Pueblo, CO. Bill was the Superintendent of the Florence Water Dept. in Florence, CO for the last eight months, and an employee there for sixteen years. Bill was a very sensitive and caring individual. He loved his family and took every opportunity he could to spend time with them.
