He served in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge and also served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Bertha Curry; mother, father, sister, 2 sons, and a great grandson.
He leaves to cherish his memory 4 daughters, Shell, Rhonda, Marlo and Monica; son Leonard; 20 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; 1 nephew, and a host of family and friends.
