William Henry “Bill” Shean, III, of Falmouth, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 4, 2020 at the age of forty-seven. He was the beloved son of William H. Shean, Jr. of Plymouth and Darlene (Ballad) Couples of South Yarmouth. He was the loving father of William Shean IV of Uxbridge and Alex Shean of Grafton. He was the brother of Lori Hurley and Dori Shean of Florida. Bill was born in Richmond, Virginia on October 29, 1972. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he honorably served our country as a Lance Corporal. While in the Marines he was top of his class and earned the National Defense Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Expert Pistol Badge and Expert Rifle Badge. He enjoyed motorcycles and hunting at his Dad’s cabin in Northern Maine. Bill was a genuine and caring person. He will be remembered as the “Life of the Party”, he could make anyone laugh with his quick wit. Bill loved his family and friends and his favorite time was spent with them. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones and all those, he made chuckle.
