William I. Hecht 77, of Sebring, Ohio died Sunday at 8:48 a.m. at the Salem Regional Medical Center of Salem, Ohio. He was born in Canton, Ohio October 11, 1936, to the late Cletus and Margaret (Jenkins) Hecht. He served in the United States Army. Graduated from Mercersburg Academy then later Miami University in Oxford, OH. He was the owner of William Hecht Appraisal Company; he was a Realtor and Bank Appraiser. He was a member of Canton Presbyterian Church and Canton Rotary. Survivors include his wife Lexa (Sitler) Hecht; his daughters, Elizabeth (Pete) Hecht Savoy, Kristin (John) Hecht Ziegler; his sons Doug (Linda) Hiscox, Derek (Patty) Hiscox, and son in law Dr. Herb Shultz; One brother Robert Hecht from Canton, Ohio. Eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
