William H. “Stretch” Selby Jr., 67, of David St. West Haven passed away at home on December 27, 2010. Husband of Sharon Brinkley Selby. Father of Richard Selby and Tracy Selby (Mark) Candelli both of East Haven and grandfather of Ryan Candelli. He was born in West Haven, August 14, 1943, son of the late Wiliam H. and Helen May Reiss Selby Sr. Bill was a volunteer firefighter with Allingtown Fire Department for 45 years. He retired from Southern CT State University where he was a storekeeper. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
