William H. Pearson, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Anna Marie D. (Facchiano) Pearson for 56 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Harold Pearson and the late Margaret (Fuhr) Ruth. Bill served his country in the Army as a private first class in WWII and as a staff sergeant in Korea. Later, he worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. in the Air Conditioning and Heating Dept. for 35 years until retiring in 1972. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors: wife Anna Marie at home; sons Jeffrey W. Pearson and his wife Sandra of Andreas, Pa. and James W. Pearson and his wife Hope of Bethlehem Twp.; sisters Betty Jane Quoos and her husband Robert of Bethlehem, Virginia Yarnall and her husband Jack of King of Prussia; brother Richard Ruth and his wife Louise of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren Jodi, Cody, Jeffrey and Gabrielle. He was predeceased by his brother Donald L. Ruth in 1967.
