William H. Davis 76 of Rosedale passed away suddendly on Nov 25, 2011. He was born
on Dec 2, 1934 in Lyford to Edward L. Davis and Maude Myers Davis. He was a 1953
graduate of Clinton High School. He was in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
1955 in Rosedale and she survives. In 1960 he started working as a Electronic Technican
for the FAA and he eventually retired from there. He was a member of the Jerusalem #99
F&AM, Parke County Elks, Parke County Golf Course, N.R.A., and Golden Gloves
Boxing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, snow sking, horses, road ralleys, race
family.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survived by his wife Roberta “Berky” Davis of Rosedale, children; Christina & Bart
Hamke of Rosedale, Lynn Sue & James Beck of Rosedale, Mark A. & Kathi Davis of
Rockville, Todd A. Davis & Michele Carson of St. Bernice and Gregory & Deborah
Davis of Auburn, IN. Three sisters; Lela Carnell, Mae Frye, and Darla Sue Coleman.
13 grand-children, 4 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 6 step great
grandchildren. Also, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
