William H. Dahl, 74, of Ladd, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, with family at his side. Mr. Dahl was born September 11, 1943 in Kankakee to Harold and Marguerite (Brumbaugh) Dahl. He was a graduate of Lowell High School in Lowell, IN and attended Purdue University. Mr. Dahl was a member of the Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and was employed in management and sales in the outdoor advertising industry.
He enjoyed hosta gardening, reading and woodworking. He also had a passion for farming and agriculture. Survivors include his longtime companion, Patricia Donna of Peru and her two granddaughters whom he adored, Cadience and Addilyn; his son, Dustin (Leah Keeter) Dahl of Littleton, CO; one sister, Becky (John) Donahue of Elmira, NY; three brothers, Keith (Mary) Dahl of Lowell, IN, Fred (Paulette) Dahl of Suwanee, GA and Mike Dahl of Lowell, IN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jane Rueda; one brother, Bob Dahl and one nephew, Adam Dahl.
