William H. Case, Jr. 88, of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at St. Lukes University Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the beloved husband of Blanche B. (Coles) Case. They celebrated 67 years of marriage in July 2012. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late William H. Sr. and Martha (Rice) Case. Bill served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He worked for Bethlehem Contracting over 40 years in many capacities, retiring in 1988. Bill was a Past Worshipful Master of H. Stanley Goodwin Lodge #648 F&AM of Bethlehem, a 32° Mason and active in many Masonic bodies. He volunteered as a cook at the Masonic Temple for many years. Bill was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem. Survivors: with his loving wife, Blanche are two sons, Melvern W. Case of Hamburg and Richard E. Case and his wife, Linda of Canton, MS; brother, James Case of Bethlehem. Bill was blessed by a very special and loving sister, Carol Hornberger and her husband, Lester of Bethlehem Township; 3 grandchildren, Robin Simmons and her husband, Michael; Kevin Case and his wife, Cathy; Hollie Kroemer and her husband, Jeff and 5 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
