WILLIAM H. BOLDOSSER

William H. Boldosser, 98, of Carlisle, passed from this life, on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Sarah A.

Born December 29, 1919 in Huntsdale, PA, he was the son of the late Frank W. and Miriam R. (Shenk) Boldosser.  He was the widower of Mary C. (Eyster) Boldosser, who passed away on July 26, 2007.

Mr. Boldosser was employed at Castle’s Lumber, Ray Diehl Homes, McCoy Brothers and then was a self-employed carpenter. He was a U S Army Veteran of WWII, having served in the Medical Corps as a Technical Sergeant.

Mr. Boldosser had served on the Carlisle School Board and was a 75 year member of the Carlisle Church of Christ, where he served as an Elder for 35 years.  Bill was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1938.

He was preceded in death by a sister:  Evelyn M. Myers and two brothers:  F. Abner and Richard W. Boldosser. 

Surviving are three daughters:  Ann Failor (John) of Boiling Springs; Donna Cart  (Doug) of Rockford, IL and Kathy Eales (Stewart) of Arnold, MD; a son:  Lee Boldosser of Carlisle; a daughter-in-law:  Susan of Carlisle; a sister: Miriam “Mim” Hull of Carlisle; two brothers:  Harold Boldosser  and David L. (wife Alma), both of Carlisle;  eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. 

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Todd Home for their tender, loving care.
