William “Bill” Grant Daugherty, 68, passed away July 26, 2013 in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Born in Owensboro Kentucky on April 10, 1945, Bill called Terre Haute home for over 50 years, and graduated from Wiley High School in 1964. Bill proudly owned Daugherty & Sons Construction for over 30 years. He was a member of the 700 Club of the ABC Bowling Association. Bill was a devoted son, husband, father, and papaw. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Eulalia Eva Daugherty, and brother, Jim Daugherty. He is survived by his father; James “Bobby” Daugherty, his wife of 41 years; Cyndi Daugherty, seven children; Mike, Jeff and his wife Gidget, Crystal, David and step-daughter Michelle Dulaney, all of Terre Haute; Kevin of Florida and Dean and wife Cara of Arizona, sisters; Suzanne Macke and husband Larry, and Elaine Huffenberger and husband John, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, as well as many other friends, family, and loved ones.
