William G. OHara, 80, of South Bend, IN, was called home to our Lord, 4:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2005 in his son Tims home. William was born on September 23, 1925 in Bicknell, IN, to Ira and Bessie Cecil (Davis) OHara. He retired in 1988 from the Bendix Corporation, where he was employed from 1968 – 1988. On February 14, 1948, he married Betty Jean Potter, who passed away January 29, 2000. Surviving are his children, Barbara Jean (Michael) Erhardt of South Bend, IN, William G. OHara, II, of Elkhart, IN, Paul Allen (Frances) OHara of Elkhart, IN, Thomas Ira (Connie) OHara of Milwaukee,WI, Timothy Ernest (Jean) OHara of Elkhart, IN, and Charles (Isabelle) Hackler of Clinton Township, MI; seventeen grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Everett of Mishawaka, IN, and Audrey Jones of Hymera, IN; two brothers, Jack OHara of Lake Station, IN and Bob OHara of Florida; and by his girlfriend, Marsha Burns.
