William Gresham Lee, Sr., age 63, of Niles, died peacefully, Monday, March 27, 2017 in his residence in the peace and comfort of his family’s presence. He was born April 10, 1953 in Durant, Mississippi to Melvin and Carmell (McGee) Lee. He married Mable Louise White January 23, 1982 in Cassopolis, Michigan. She survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Marvin Lee, Lawrence Lee, and Melvin Lee, Jr. William was a friend to everybody who would give them everything he had. He never met a person that he didn’t befriend. He was an Associate at WalMart in Niles for over nine years. William will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of thirty five years, Mable (White) Lee of Niles; one daughter, Tyreta Lee of Niles; one son, William Lee, Jr., of Edwardsburg; one granddaughter, Amirah Lee; two sisters, Bettye (Billy) Nichols of Atlanta, Georgia, Carmen (Paul) Peake of Cassopolis; two brothers, Oscar (Shelly) Lee of Aurora, Colorado, Gary Lee of Youngstown, Arizona; one sister in law, Theresa Lee of Denver, Colorado; and a host of nieces and nephews.
