William was born on September 14th, 1935 to parents William Sharp II and Stella Vielle in Browning, MT where he grew up and would later meet and marry Lois Briden Sharp. Together with family and friends he and Lois celebrated their 40th Anniversary September 13, 2014. In 1952, William enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served for 8 years, some of which was during the Korean War. Throughout his lifetime, William also worked as a baker and cook and owned several bakeries in Sand Point, ID, Seattle & Bremerton, WA, and Kalispell, Mt. He also spent time farming and ranching on Cut Bank Creek.

In addition to the time spent with his beloved family, William always made time to enjoy the outdoors; camping, hunting, and fishing. He served on the board of the Blackfeet Gaming Commission, Housing Board, and on the Seattle Indian Center Housing Board. A man of many skills and talents, a devoted husband and loving father; William will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

William is survived by his wife Lois Sharp; sons, David Sharp of Browning, William Archie Sharp of Great Falls, William Jason Sharp of Browning, Jack Sharp of MN, and Charles DeRoche, Richard DeRoche, Douglas DeRoche all of Browning, MT; daughters, Melody Sharp of Maybell, Co, Juanita Sharp of Craig, CO, Mary Gallagher of Tacoma, WA, and Margie (Daryl) St. Goddard of Browning; sisters, Jewel (Frank) Snell and Wilma Sharp of Great Falls, Mardell Conway of Browning; and numerous grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Stella Sharp and sister, Anna Mae Cobell, and daughter Charlotte DeRoche Moreno.
