William Fenza, 92, of Peru, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Mr. Fenza was born on November 25, 1925 in Spring Valley to Felix and Elizabeth (Pomatto) Fenza. He married Marie “Dolly” Pyszka on May 29, 1948 in Peru. Mr. Fenza graduated from Wilbur Wright Junior College in Chicago and later worked as an electrical engineer retiring from Union Carbide in Ottawa.
After retirement William enjoyed gardening, woodworking, photography and learning new things on his computer. He is survived by his daughter, Paula (James Good) Fenza of Elmhurst; and one sister in-law, Lynn Fenza of Granville. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers, Felix, Jr. and Donald Fenza; and one sister, Lois Nemeth.
