Muncie – William F. Montgomery, 81, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Maple Park Village in Westfield following an extended illness.
William was born in Alexandria on October 4, 1929, the son of the late Charles B. and Sarah (Carrico) Mongomery, and attended Alexandria High School and St Mary Catholic Schools.
Mr. Montgomery worked for Westinghouse and ABB – L.G. Power Transmission Plant for over 31 years until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of St.

He was preceded in death by two children, Brian A. Montgomery, and Blain E. Montgomery; a sister, Marcella Ellsworth; and four step siblings, John Lents, Thelma Foster, Helen Snodgrass, and Bea Overman.
