Details: William Floyd Holmes, 78, died June 10 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Mr. Holmes was born May 22, 1937 in West Virginia to the late Charles W. and Mary Leoda Holmes. He lived most of his life in the South Baltimore and Brooklyn areas. He worked in the trucking industry for the teamsters local #355 in Baltimore. He was a member of the Harvest Crusade Ministries in Glen Burnie. He was a bowler at the Glen Burnie Bowling Lanes on Wednesdays, an avid Orioles fan, he enjoyed feeding and caring for the wild birds at his residence, in his younger years he liked riding motorcycles. He is survived by 3 brothers Albert F. Link of S. Baltimore, George D. Link of Brooklyn Park and Kenneth N. Link of Glen Burnie. He was preceded in death by Charles T. Holmes, James J. Schoonover, Rosie Frome, Roy Holmes, and Anna Mary Leoda Schoonover, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
