William F. Farrell, 95, formerly of Fountain Hill, died on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Old Orchard in Easton. He was the husband of the late Rosalie T. (Schmalzl) who died in 2000. Born in Tremont Twp. Schuylkill County, he was the son of the late James and the late Sarah (Wolfe) Farrell. Bill honorably served his county with the Marines during WWII. He worked for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp., in the Press Forge Dept., for 41 years, until retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Ursula’s Catholic Church, and the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the Fountain Hill American Legion Post #406. Survivors: son William T. Farrell and his wife Deborah of Washington, NJ; Three grandchildren, Julie, Colleen and Virginia, her husband Travis Menefee and their son Nathanael; sister Helen Farrell of Philadelphia. His siblings, John, Marie Murphy and Elizabeth Fitzgibbons, Ann Sullivan and Katherine Boyle, and his grandson Brett Stocker predeceased him.
