William F. “Bill” Casey, age 65, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away on July 5, 2017 at Franciscan Health Rensselaer. Bill was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, on March 9, 1952, the son of William Junior and Mae Eloise (nee Cox) Casey. Bill resided in Rensselaer for thirty-three years, moving here from Toledo, Ohio. Bill graduated from Libbey High School in Toledo with the Class of 1970.

He had proudly served in the Unites States Air Force. His marriage was in Toledo, Ohio on October 26, 1984, to Mary Jo Grabowski who survives. Bill was a supervisor at White Castle Bakery in Rensselaer and worked at Caboose Lake Campground in Remington, Indiana. He had many outside interests and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, bowling and classic cars.

Bill also had assisted with coaching of the Rensselaer Central High School volleyball team. Bill’s greatest joy was time spent with family and he loved time spent with his three grandchildren.

Surviving with his wife Mary Jo Casey are two daughters, Stephanie Casey (Michael Erb) of Rensselaer, and Michelle Casey of Lafayette, Indiana; three grandchildren, Jayden Erb, Jakob Erb and Olivia Casey; a sister, Eva McGann of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Art and Lori Schermbeck, brother-in-law Walt Grabowski and several nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Casey.
