William F. Bill Kruse, Jr., 72, Anderson, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born May 18, 1939 in Tell City, Indiana and graduated from Tell City High School in 1957, where he was active in sports. He received his B.S. from Ball State University and retired from General Motors in 1992 after 30 years of service. He then contracted with General Motors, Delphi and Delco-Remy America. He attended First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carolyn Arms; two sons; Mike companion Terri and her son, Josh of Anderson and Randy Kelly of South Carolina, three stepchildren, whom he reared as his own; Debbie Florida, Stacey Colorado and Todd Vikki Barron of Anderson; five grandchildren, Jon, Stella, and Ruby Kruse and Dylan & Gavin Barron; step grandson, Justin Richwine companion Haley and one step great-grandson, Braylon. Also surviving are his sister, Marsha Steve Atchison of Illinois, brothers-in-law, Larry Susan of California and Darrell Debbie Arms of Anderson; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, William and Ruth Rathsam Kruse and maternal and paternal grandparents. He enjoyed traveling, sports, keeping an immaculate yard and enjoying time with his beloved grandchildren.
