William Edward Ross Sr., Age 69 of 84 High Street Vanceburg, Ky. 41179 passed away Wednesday December 4, 2013 at 1:10PM at his home with his family by his side after an extended illness.
Mr. Ross was born in Reading, Pennsylvania August 9, 1944 to the late John C. and Virginia D. Slagowski Ross. He was of the Christian Faith, and love to spend time tinkering with metal and building things. Bill was a ham radio operator and talked to numerous people on his CB radio .
William was a veteran of the United States Army in which he so proudly served in Vietnam.
Preceded in death beside his parents was his wife -Sharon Ryor Ross on Saturday November 30, 2013. Also, a son Lonnie Smothers.
Surviving is Three daughters- Laurie Stevens of Oregon, Ohio, Angel Fletcher of Pennsylvania, and Anita Smothers- West Union, Ohio.
Five-sons- Larry Smothers of Pell Lake, Wisconsin, Lenny Smothers of Rising Sun, Ohio, Bill Ross Jr. of Washington, Chris Ross and John Fletcher of Pennsylvania.
