He lived most of his life in Weber County, graduating from Ogden High School in 1975. He received his Machinist Certificate from Ogden/Weber ATC. He worked at Chromalox for years and had many good friends there.
William enjoyed woodworking and restoring cars.
He is survived by his sister Susan W. (Preston) Richey; his nieces and nephews, Ross (Liz) Richey, Janet (Jon) Medsker, Denise (Greg) Waters, Valerie (John) Halladay, Paul (Jessica) Richey, Jeff (Tiffiny) Richey and Ann Richey.
