William Earl “Buck” Stephenson, 84, of Anderson, passed away on January 10, 2013 at his residence. He was born on January 2, 1929 and resided in Anderson all of his life. He served his country in the U.S. Army. William retired from Delco-Remy Division of General Motors after 46 years of service.
He was a member of AMVETS Post 692, VFW Post 266, and the Anderson Eagles. William is survived by his sisters; Jacquline Jim Thorpe, and JoAnn Montgomery; brothers; Jack Kathryn Stephenson and Fred Marcia Stephenson. sister-in-law; Nancy B.J. Johnson; step-daughter, Terri Bobby Lazenby; Six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Chapman Stephenson; mother, Edna Morrow, father, John Stephenson, step-father, Salmo Morrow, brother, John Everett and sister, Jean Bromback.
