William E York 66 of West Terre Haute passed away on April 2, 2013 in
the VA Hospital in Danville, IL. He was born on Dec 29, 1946 in Clinton to
James H. York and Helen Baugues York. He served in the US Navy from
1966-1970 during the Vietnam War. He was a clamp truck operator with
International Paper. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and
United Paperworkers.
He is preceded in death by his father James York.
He is survived by his wife Penny York of West Terre Haute, a son Chad E.
& Kristen M. York of West Terre Haute, his mother Helen York of Montezuma
and a sister Margaret & Jim Rumple of Montezuma. A granddaughter Koti
York of West Terre Haute. Also, several nieces and nephews and several
great nieces and nephews.
