William Clifton Robinson, 66, of Meriden, husband of Julia (Gray) Robinson, passed away on Thursday, March 25th at the Masonic Home in Wallingford. Born in Pamplico, SC, he was the son of the late Ned Myers and Elizabeth Robinson. William was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Army. He lived in CT for 48 years, was a member of the American Legion Post #75 in Middletown and worked for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for over forty years. William loved God and his family, enjoyed bowling and was an avid fan of the NY Yankees, NY Giants, NY Nicks and UConn teams. Besides his wife, William is survived by two brothers, Rev. Russell Robinson and Ernest Burch, both of NC; three sisters, Gail Myers, Thelma Cherry and her husband Royal, all of Middletown and Ernestine Fleming of NC; his aunt and uncle who raised him, Carrie Lee and Thomas Bostick; four cousins who were raised with William as brothers and sisters, Ruth Parker of SC, Thomas Lee Bostick of NY, Carolyn Bostick McCray of SC and Gilbert Bostick of SC; two aunts, Haster Cain of Philadelphia and Janetha Myers of West Haven; close friends, Ed, Charles, Roy amd Rodney, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Alicetine Dancy.
