William C. “Bill” Higgs Jr. 59, of Freeport died Wednesday January 13, 2010 at FHN Memorial Hospital, Freeport. Born April 11, 1950 in Rockford he was the son of William C. Higgs Sr. and Dolores (Bittner) Meyers.
Bill was a Journeyman Electrician for many years. He was an avid Green Bay Packer, W.C. Fields, Marilyn Monroe, and Beatle fan. He loved in his words “To Cowboy Up” and always spoke of his love for his sons, grandchildren, his nephew Ed, and his faithful dog Ming.
