William Boos William Boos, 96, of Danbury, husband of Elizabeth (Artale) Boos, died on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Danbury Hospital. Mr. Boos was born in the Bronx, NY, August 9, 1916, one of seven children of Frederick and Rose Boos. He attended New York schools. A World War II Army Air Force Staff Sargent, he served in the photography reconnaissance unit in the Pacific theatre. Mr. Boos was a retired photo engraver with Walker Engraving of New York, NY. A resident of Danbury for the past thirty-years coming from Bethpage, L.I., New York, Mr. Boos enjoyed in past years bowling and in more recent years, gardening. In addition to his wife of sixty-four years, Mr. Boos is survived by a son, William B. Boos and his wife, Margaret of Shelton, CT; a daughter, Linda R.
