MUNCIE – William Bock, Jr. 81, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in Muncie. He was born February 17, 1933 in New York City, New York to William and Hilda (Klinger) Bock Romansky. William attended Stoneybrook High School in New York. After high school he attended 3 colleges, Springfield College,
Columbus, Ohio and received his doctorate degree. William was a professor at Ball State University for 49 years serving in the Physiology and Health Science Departments.
William is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Marianne (Taggart) Bock, son William Bock, III (wife-Tracy); Indianapolis, daughter Chavanne Hanson (husband-Michael); Chagrin Falls, Ohio, daughter Rebecca Stone (husband-Steven); Davidson, North Carolina, son Christian Bock; Charlotte, North Carolina, 10 grandchildren and sister Jeanne Stoll; (husband-Frederick); Longmont, Colorado.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
