Mr. William Edward Vinson, son of Charles Edward Vinson and Lille Odessa Vinson, was born on September 9, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana. William was preceded in death by his parents; son, Lee Angelo Vinson and brothers, Charles Douglas Vinson and Gary Allen Vinson.

     

William attended the Indianapolis Public School System, where he received his  primary and secondary education. William then went on to work as a Construction Worker as a hard laborer. He later worked at the Indiana Roof Ballroom  as a floor care man.

 

William gave his life to Christ at an early ages. He loved and enjoyed being around his family and friends. William was considered the life of the party and put a lot of smiles on people’s  faces with his dancing and outspoken personality. William enjoyed fishing, cooking, music, watching the discovery channel, dressing nice and helping others who needed him. William was also very protective of his loved ones.

 

William was a very devoted father to his six children and his seven grandchildren were his pride and joy. He also a very devoted brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

 

On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at the age of fifty-nine years two months and nine days, William’s pain and suffering ended peacefully when God called him home to rest. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

William leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Lamika Vinson; step-daughters, Donnica Parish and Triece Hampton; sons, William Vinson, Jr. (Cherika Knox), Jajuan Jones, Brandon Vinson, and Jeremiah Vinson; grandchildren, Christian Turman, Sr, (Jamicia Cole), Tyler Vinson, Travon Vinson,  and Cambria Vinson; great grandchildren, Christian Turman, Jr., and Trai Vinson; sisters, Betty Allen, Elizabeth Searcy, and Regina Vinson; brothers, Fredrick Vinson (Gwendolyn Vinson), James Vinson (Debora Vinson), and a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  

 

He will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him.
