Billy was born in Dickson, Tennessee on March 15, 1947, to Less and Ruth Edmondson of Charlotte, Tennessee. In 1952, the family relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana, where Billy attended Indianapolis Public School #22 and Harry E. Wood High School.
After completing his education Billy worked at The Huddle Restaurant and later found employment at Indiana Farm Bureau, in 1965. He worked with his father until his retirement, in 1998.
In 1970, Billy married Fannie Day (1988), and to this union one child, Felice A. Edmonson, was born.
Billy had a fun-filled life with many enjoyments such as, playing pool, cooking Sunday dinner, traveling and telling jokes. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor.
Billy (Earl) was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Ruth; wife, Fannie; and brother-in-law, Delynn Glover.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Felice; father, Les; sisters, Brenda and Gennetter; step-daughter, Melinda; nieces, Ashley and Ashante; nephews, James (Tracy), Delynn and Darnell; friend, William Sanders, and a host of relatives and friends.
