William “Bill” Joseph Sheldon, 51 of Clarksburg passed away on Monday, July11, 2022 at his residence. He was born on July 3, 1971 in Clarksburg, son of Anna Lee Currey Sheldon of Clarksburg and Gary Lee Sheldon of Bridgeport.
Bill graduated WI High School, Class of 1989. He attended Fairmont State University and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Bill taught Junior and Senior English at Robert C. Byrd High School for over eighteen years. He loved writing, reading, photography and his dog Shadow.
In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by one sister, Jennifer Marchionna, Clarksburg; two nephews and one niece, Xavier Wiseman, Alyssa Wiseman Morace and Ian Marchionna; three cousins.
Bill was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William B Currey and Virginia Robinson Currey.
Following Bill’s Wishes he will be cremated.
