William “Bill” J. Baker, 51, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017.

He was born to the late William J. Sr. and Goldie Baker on November 14, 1966, in Indianapolis.

After graduating high school, Bill worked as a service technician and mechanic during his lifetime. He was so good at his job, that he was able to tell people what was wrong with a vehicle just by listening to the noises it was making. Bill loved to spend time reading his bible. He was very handy, he could repair anything, from weed trimmers to cars or trucks and he also loved to build guitars. Anything that pertained to engines sparked his interest. He loved talking on the phone, he could talk all day. He loved watching and putting together model trains, remote control cars and boats.

Bill is survived by his two sons: Brevin Baker of Beech Grove, and Tyler Baker of Indianapolis; and a brother, John (Stacy) Baker of Indianapolis.
