William F. “Bill” Wynia, 87, of Nampa, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at a Nampa care center. Bill was born on October 19, 1924 in Platte, South Dakota to Samuel G. and Rose Koster Wynia. He was raised and attended schools in Meridian and Nampa and attended college at the Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa for one year. He served in the United States Army for 22 months during WWII.
On September 2, 1944 he married Florence M. Juedes and to this marriage was born four children, Larry, Robert, Kathy and Nancy. The family farmed in the Kuna Area for several years. Flossie passed away in 1968. He married Wilma R. Holly on August 11, 1969 and they have made their home in Nampa. Bill worked in other professions including construction and painting, mechanics and maintenance.
