William “Bill” David Oleson, 51

William “Bill” David Oleson, 51, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away January 20, 2020 at his home of Pinehurst.  He was born July 5, 1968 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; Bill was the son of David and Christine (Rhoades) Oleson.

Bill attended schools in Rathdrum.  He moved to the Silver Valley in 2006.

Bill had first worked as a fisherman on the Time Bandit and The Wizard crab boats made famous on the T.V. show “Deadliest Catch” out of Dutch Harbor, Alaska.  He then served as a contractor/framer, building businesses and homes throughout the Northwest.

Bill loved and enjoyed boxing and softball while attending school; he also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Bill is survived by his companion of eleven years Tami Lambert of Pinehurst, Idaho; one brother Danny and his wife Nhi Dashiell of Spokane Valley, Washington; his buddy dog Rubie; five step-children Serina Walter of Nampa, Idaho, Brittany Anne Batalia of Kodiak, Alaska, Bea Skinner of Nampa, Idaho, Chad Ward of Kingston, and Carla Speckman of Enaville; he is also survived by several step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  Bill was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ronald Oleson and two sisters Wanda Montgomery and Linda Hermann.
