William “Bill” Dale Hadden
William “Bill” Dale Hadden, 89, a resident of Shoshone, Idaho, died February 26, 2013 at his son’s home.
Bill was born on February 19, 1924, in Paul, Idaho, the son of John Edward Hadden and Annie Myrtle Nielsen. He was raised and educated in Paul. Bill served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II and was stationed in Hawaii.
He married Doris Marie Asher on September 7, 1946 in Burley, Idaho, at the home of Doris’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Carlos Asher.
They moved to Pilot Rock, Oregon, in January of 1947. He worked mainly as owner/operator in the logging industry.
He is survived by: his wife, Doris Marie Asher Hadden; four sons, Craig Hadden of Shoshone, Idaho, Guy (Debbie) Hadden of Enterprise, Oregon, Aaron (Charlene) Hadden of Pilot Rock, Oregon, Nels (Betsy) Hadden of Walla Walla, Washington; and one daughter, Randie (Martin) Goold of Puyallup, Washington; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
Bill was the last surviving child of eight children. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a granddaughter, Lindsey Ann Goold.
