William R. Berkley (Billy Bob), age 88, passed away April 25, 2016 at Provincial House in Adrian Michigan. He was born to Tellous and Carrie Berkley on June 13, 1927, in Paducah, Kentucky. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the Navy, and he married his sweetheart Clara O. Gilbert after his return from the war. Billy Bob was also an avid golfer, who proudly scored two “holes in one” over the years. Survivors include; son, Robert Terry Berkley of Gaston South Carolina; daughter, Cheryl Gillin (Bart) of Tecumseh, Michigan; grandsons, Jason (Cassie) Gillin, and Jeff Gillin; two great grandsons, Jacob Gillin-Faust, Travis Gillin; and one great granddaughter, Samantha Gillin. A memorial picnic will be announced at a later date.
