William Albert Good, 84, of Galien, Michigan died peacefully at his home Sunday, July 26, 2015.Bill was born November 12, 1930 on the family farm in Galien to Robert William and Mary (Norman) Good. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War, serving in Korea. On December 28, 1954 he married Vada Uselton in New Buffalo, Michigan.

Bill liked hunting and fishing in his younger years. He was a hard worker and a man of many talents, doing whatever it took whether repairing hot water heaters, being a cabinet maker, a mechanic at the Ford Dealer in Buchanan, and working maintenance at the Galien Schools. He could fix most anything around the house and enjoyed steam engines, antique tractors, and trains.

Bill and his family were well known for their firewood business, Goods Firewood, a business known for it’s service – logging, splitting to order, and timely delivery.Survivors include his wife, Vada of Galien; daughters, Mary Ann (Gerald) Weaver of Buchanan and Patricia (Hassel) Gilliam of Benton Harbor, Michigan, grandchildren Chrystal Horton, Amanda Weaver and James Weaver and his great grandchildren, Mariah, Ethan, Liberty, Tammy, Chloe and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his son, William Andrew Good in 2002.
