Willard William Stokes, born December 26, 1913 in Okeene, Blaine County, Oklahoma passed away at the Riverview Nursing Home on October 13, 2007 at the age of 93. Willard was a rancher and farmer, shop Foreman, welder, bus drive, and missionary. He loved to tinker in his shop making canes, knives and inventing things to help him make his work easier. Willard was a member of the First Baptist Church of Boerne. Willard was predeceased by his parents, William Henry Stokes and Verna Viola Roth Stokes, his sister, Grace Stokes Hill, his infant daughter, Peggy Ann Stokes and his beloved wife of 59 years, Elsie Lee Combs Stokes. He leaves to rejoice in his home going his two daughters, Troy Stokes Ellenwood and her husband Melvin, and Penny Stokes Turner and her husband Donovan: grandchildren, Melvin Ellenwood and his wife Amy, Shana Ellenwood Neuman and her husband Robert, Adrian Ellenwood and his wife Stacy, Gwen Turner and Israel Turner: eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
