Wilhelmina M. Rausch age 88, of Hammond, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017.
Wilhelmina is survived by her children: Judith (Richard) Preissig, John Rausch, and Paul (Betty) Rausch; grandchildren: Sarah Rausch, Dawn (Dan) Geeding, Mark (Marie) Preissig and Todd (Mary) Preissig; 12 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 69 years George; siblings: Dick, Bob, Margaret and Thelma.
Wilhelmina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she cared for her family with all of her being. She had a lifelong love of outdoors. She and George would take the kids on camping trips and especially enjoyed the time spent at Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Wilhelmina enjoyed visiting resale shops and had a vast collection of knick-knacks and other small treasures displayed in her home.
A true homebody, Wilhelmina enjoyed watching her soaps, especially “Days of Our Lives”. May she rest now eternally in peace.
