Wilhelm Freidrich Nuber, 92, Town of Sigel, died Friday, January 4, 2013 at his home.
Wilhelm was born in Novi-Wrbash, Yugoslavia on December 29, 1920 to Johann and Theresa (Nuber) Schuller. He married Elisabeth Bargfrede on November 14, 1948 in Emmingen, Germany. They immigrated to the United States in 1951 and began dairy farming. The entire family worked together on the farm as the children grew up. Wilhelm was a man used to hard work, taking care of up to 70 cows at a time.
Wilhelm is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Elisabeth; children, Wilhelm Nuber Jr., Roger (Bonnie) Nuber, Elisabeth Galloway and Magdalena (Jim) LaBarge; grandchildren, Julie Ward, Nicholas Nuber, Katrina Nuber, Barbara LaBarge and Natasha LaBarge; great-grandchildren, Lillian Ward, Marcus and Aria Chialda; siblings, Hans (Monica) Schuller, Margaretha (Lothar) Holzer and Resi Schuller; and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elisabeth Bauer.
