Wilfredo Hernandez, 71, formerly of Goldsboro, passed away at Barbour Court in Smithfield. He was the son of Sofia Ruiz, and the husband of Elia Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez was a line worker for Case Farms. He was a family man, that adored his wife, and was a hard worker. He also enjoyed going fishing and growing vegetables in his garden.
In addition to his wife of 33 years, Mr. Hernandez is survived by his children, Melinda Brown of Goldsboro, Hector Laureano and wife, Xiomara of Goldsboro, Javier Hernandez of San Antonio, TX, and Alfred Hernandez of New York, NY; and 8 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Wilfredo was preceded in death by a son, Wilfredo Hernandez Jr.
