A native of New Orleans, LA, he was a Commercial Fisherman and a member of the Catholic faith. GeGe was a boat builder, making fishing nets, and he also made model shrimp boats. He was a very caring person with lots of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred Nunez Sr. and Philomene Nunez; his wife, Joan S. Nunez; his daughter, Cynthia Nunez; his grandson, Wilfred Nunez, and his sisters, Geraldine Nunez and Evelyn Martinez. Survivors include his children, Bill Nunez, Don Nunez, Nina M..J., and Michele Cialona and husband Richie; 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
