OXFORD- Mr. Wilford Wayne Reneau, 80, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
Mr. Reneau was born March 13, 1940 to the late Floyd and Mildred Reneau in Monroe County, TN. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 4 years and then in the United States Army where he served in the 82nd airborne for 3 years. Mr. Reneau was an avid fisherman, enjoyed leather working and mowing his yard frequently. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Mr. Reneau is preceded in death by his son, Joe Reneau; parents, Floyd and Mildred Reneau; brother, Richard R. Reneau; sister, Peggy Kirkland.
Mr. Reneau is survived by his wife, Madge Reneau of Oxford, NC; sons, Micheal W. Reneau (Kim) of Flemming Island, FL., Randy W. Reneau of Godwin, NC;
Stepchildren , Michelle Williford (Paul), Georgette Hockaday (Rick); Blake McIntosh, Jr. (Tonya); Siblings, Jimmy Reneau (Diane) of Orange Park, FL, Wilma Lou Thayer of Cold Water, Michigan, Roy Reneau (Ichen) of Walland, TN, Robert Reneau of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Lindsey Reneau, Michael “Bubba” Reneau and; step-grandchildren, Chelsea McIntosh, Whitney Lunsford, Mariah Williford, Danika McIntosh, Jaxson Williams, Luke McIntosh, Charlie McIntosh, and; step-greatgrandchildren, Wyatt Lunsford, Victoria Williford and Weldon Lunsford.
