Wilda R. (Castor) Christensen, 89, of McCordsville, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Kindred Health & Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield.
She was born in Tipton County, IN on September 6, 1924 to the late Harry and Bertha (Smith) Cole. She was a homemaker and member of the Fortville Christian Church.
She is survived by husband Neil Christensen whom she married July 3, 1974 in Fortville; sons: Larry (Rita) Castor of Indianapolis, Jeffrey Michael (Linda) Castor of Greenfield, Mike (Connie) Christensen of Madison, WI, and Mark (Kay) Christensen of Oaklandon; daughters Christy (Mike) Prewitt of French Lick, IN and Sheri (Thom) Kessler of Indianapolis; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cora Ann “Corky” Howard.
