Wilda M. Nikkel, 91, of Newton; formerly of Sully, died on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at MercyOne Medical Center in Newton.
Wilda, the daughter of Everett C. and Jennie (Rykhoek) Van Der Pol, was born on February 5, 1928 in rural Taintor. She attended schools in rural Taintor. Wilda was united in marriage with John H. Nikkel on January 20, 1950, at her parent’s home in rural Newton. She was a lifelong resident of Jasper County.
