Wilburn “Dee” Atwood, 80, died Thursday Feb. 21, 2013 in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.
Survivors include his wife, Violet (White) Atwood of Franklin, eight children, Butch (Sandy) Asher, Dana Smith, David (Judy) Asher, Richard(Dirinda)Asher, Kerry (Sara) Atwood and Angela (Jeff) Atwood all of Franklin, Rebecca Whittenburg of Tenn. and Scott (Gina) Atwood of Avon, brother, Harold L. Atwood of Ohio, 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William M. and Ethel M. (Coffman) Atwood, son, Steven Lee Atwood, four brothers, Elmer L. Atwood, William M. Atwood Jr., Herschel O. Atwood, Merrill F. Atwood and two sisters, Thelma B. Atwood and Ina M. Braden.
