Wilburn B. “Bill” Reynolds, 74, of Fortville, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born September 30, 1944 in Indianapolis to William B. and Myrtle L. (Gator) Reynolds.

Bill was a 1962 graduate of Pike High School and had many jobs throughout his life. He worked at Oaklandon Sales, Ford Motor Company, owned his own truck while driving for Ecoff Trucking and went to work for its successor firm Liquid Transport Company. Bill retired from Liquid Transport Co. where he spent the last 8 years of his career in dispatch. During his retirement Bill worked for Broadway Hardware and for the last 8 years has worked for Hendricks Pools.

Bill had many hobbies. He was an extraordinary gardener, avid mushroom hunter, meticulous lawn mower and loved watching sports. Bill loved walking his dog Molly and attending any of his grandchildren’s activities.

He had been an Oaklandon Volunteer Fire Fighter, a member of the Oakland Masonic Lodge No. 104 and Outlook Christian Church where he served on the men’s breakfast committee and was a traffic coordinator.

Bill is survived by his wife Bonnie L. (Apple) Reynolds, whom he married November 2, 1963; daughters Shelley (Jeff) Horn of Noblesville; Angela (Eric) Fettig of Cicero and Jody (Lee) Reasor of Fortville; grandchildren: Brant (fiancé Joanne), Ryan (wife Jordan), Makenzi, Adam, Lexi, Isaac, Ellen, Holdan, Ava, and Aidan. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Eugene Reynolds, sister Lois Hobbs and infant sisters Martha and Julia Reynolds.
