     Wilbur H. Crumrine, age 90 of Ashland, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Hospice House of North Central Ohio.  On September 16, 1921 in Sullivan, OH., Mr. Crumrine was born to Charles M. and Beryl (Miller) Crumrine.  He had been a resident of Ashland Co. all of his life working as a businessman/salesman.  After serving in the US Army during WW II in the European Theatre (908 AFB and 83rd Infantry) Mr. Crumrine worked at Ashland Chrysler Dealership; Crumrine’s Texaco; Medina Wholesale as a manufacturing representative; F.E. Myers in sales; and Water Supplies as part-owner and in sales of the Ashland and Hartville stores.  He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Ashland VFW, American Legion Post #88, and Ashland Masonic Lodge F&AM 151.

 

     On September 14, 1947, Mr. Crumrine married Dorothy Maurer who survives.  Also surviving are two sons: Michael Crumrine of Los Angeles, CA. and Kenneth (Monica) Crumrine of Sarasota, FL.; one daughter: Cathy (Tom) Siwek of Ashland, OH.; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Vivian Kiplinger of Ashland; and several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Crumrine was preceded in death by his father, Charles, his mother, Beryl Wonders, and two brothers: George and Walter Crumrine.
